Payment Options

The Tax Commissioner's Office accepts the following payments:

• Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, checks and money orders at the window*

*All card transactions are subject to additional non-refundable processing and/or convenience fees. The Credit Card fee is 2.35% with a minimum of 1.00. 

Make checks payable to the Rockdale County Tax Commissioner. The office does not accept counter checks, third-party checks, payroll checks, or out-of-state/out-of-county checks, and reserves the right to refuse any check. Name and current Rockdale County address must be pre-printed on the check and match the registration. Include your phone number, birthdate, and GA driver’s number.

Warning: The maker of a dishonored/returned/bad check will be subject to criminal prosecution and penalties. A minimum fee of $35 or 6% will be charged for returned checks. This office prosecutes to the fullest extent of the law. A returned check over $1,500 constitutes a felony.
